Office aides assist attendance clerk/ office staff and are responsible for call slips, answering phones, general office work and maintaining confidentiality.

Students may arrange to serve as an assistant in a classroom, office, cafeteria, or other workstation on campus. Students working in this capacity must have good citizenship and attendance and be trustworthy. Students perform clerical duties and assist in the preparation of instructional materials. A limit of 10 credits may be applied toward graduation requirements.

This class is responsible for the planning, preparation and publishing of the school yearbook, under guidance of an advisor. Students plan layouts and graphics, take and print the photographs, write all copy, captions and headlines, and manage book and ad sales. Work is created using industry standard machines and software. This hands-on, project-based course is at the heart of Common Core ideology.
